I'm participating in Pollinator this October - a new program from the co-founder of @_artcoop that connects aligned peers for 5 weeks of capacity-building and focused creative momentum. Pollinator is currently only open to alumni from select institutions, including MacDowell.
The Reality Principle
EFA Studios and the Monira Foundation proudly present The Reality Principle, featuring EFA Studios and Monira Residency artists. The exhibition focuses on proposed, in progress, or otherwise unrealized work through models, mockups, and drafts.
Earth Pigments and the Language of the Land
Before the color ever touches the canvas, it’s dug from the earth. Pigments made from clays and silts are gathered from riverbanks and ditches. In this piece, I share how I transform these raw materials into handmade pigments, and how each layer of soil carries its language, history, and hue.
